Does anyone have a Vixen Neo-Achromat which they might consider selling?

I am interested in trying out one of these OTA's and understand that they have been produced over many years and in many different sizes ranging from 120mm, 130mm and 140mm.

As I am keen to try one of these telescopes I am open to any size lens irrespective of age. Indeed, it is also my understanding that these same scopes were made by Vixen and rebadged under the Orion label some years ago so an 'Orion' (aka Vixen) Neo-Achromat would be fine too.

As mentioned before I will consider any size OTA of any age - my only criteria is that the optics must be in good condition.

Please do not make/add any postings to this listing.

If you have something you might consider selling please send a PM only.

Thank you for reading this advertisement.

I have given this a little more thought.

I am basically after ANY sort of largish Vixen refractor - A Neo-Achro was my first thought but I am told there have been plenty of other good Vixen refractors made over the years so I am basically after anything which is 100mm or above.

Any current or older model Vixen APO or an older Semi-APO or any 'Neo-Achro' model would be fine.

Unfortunately, my only caveat is that I am not too interested in any of the much older Vixen 'pure' achro's'

Please send PM if you have something you might consider selling.

In response to an inquiry - when I use the term 'pure' achro I am simply trying to differentiate from their Neo-Achro range.

Basically, I am after any largish Vixen refractor that is a bit better than their much older achro's - So any Neo-Achro, Sem-Apo or APO I would be very interested to buy

In response to an inquiry - no - there is nothing wrong with older Vixen refractors I am just trying to avoid Achro's

Still open to any suggestions - any largish Vixen refractor (100mm or above) - I would prefer to avoid an achro and optics must be in good condition

:)There is a 80mm Vixen refractor for sale on ebay at the momment.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether this might be what you are actually after in terms of size or whether it is achro or not - I suspect it probably is however.

I might be able to put you in contact with someone who has one of the older Vixen 100mm refractors - however - I think it is an achro - but a very well corrected one - just in case you are interested.:hi:
