Hi All,

Today is a special day in the history of amateur astronomy.

This day last year was the first time an amateur every observed and recorded in real time the fireball from an impact on Jupiter.

We are fortunate here in Australia to have amateurs of the class of Bird.

Congratulations again.

Regards
Trevor

Hi Trevor,

Is that in Earth years or Jupiter years?

In any case, it was a timeless discovery.
