Here's another one I did some Oiii on and blended with the existing Ha.
Approx 40x10min. There doesn't seem to be much Oiii in those two but for the cores. Still a little noisy though so I might add more Oiii later this week. There's a bigger version here (http://public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p8xaVkk1dr0zzzdytajrfS66Ek9EPTjZZ tjv8l9T-B2rzX9Hf8bKsK1bZO8VqF3BWXMVXyQH5XD_ xS944X4CMsw/NGC3576_HaOiiiOiii_f.jpg?psid=1)[1.3MB].

Awesome shot, very natural looking colours... framing could have been better, but otherwise. Textbook example of a HaO3O3 image. Great stuff

Looking good. It'd be nice with some RGB to build it up more.
Greg.

Hi Alex! :eyepop: Where have you been! Thanks. Not wrong re:framing. I'm the king of offset. Let's call it mega-dithering :P
Thanks Greg. Yes some star colors would be nice. I'll add in the final.

been lurking around the forums... spending 90% of my time at work, the other 10% finishing building my drift car.... now that its done, and requires only basic maintenance im going to get more active in the astronomy community again... :)

Marc,
I like this very much. I enjoy many of your deep sky images. I still have a long way to go but enjoy reading up on a lot of the posts in the deep space section to learn more.

Nice work Marc. Like Greg I would like to see some RGB in there too. Great field of view with some very faint dust off to the right.

Thanks Paul. I have some old RGB here (http://cid-6930d3ad12d5044c.photos.live.com/self.aspx/Astrophotography/ngc3576%5E_ED80%5E_lf.jpg), the only one actually on that object that I shot last year with an ED80. I doubt it would match the image scale but when the clouds part I'll try. These targets I've been shooting are primarily for NB rendering. I'm on a run of Oiii now I have all the Ha I need so I don't have to change filter all night.

Nice Marc.....the core doesn't look noisy on my monitor but the faint areas do.

Yeah probably sky glow. Need a lot more data in Oiii than that to smooth things out. Weather fairy's cut my imaging run short lately.
