Decided to re-visit this crustacean in pure RGB. (star colours always look better that way).

A link to the image is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery98.html)

Gee Pete you sure are pumping out some beautiful images of late, :eyepop:I do presume you are home when this is happening, not in England or similar.  very nice indeed.

Leon

Thanks Leon....yes I've had a few days off....but unfortunately not many chances to do any deep sky imaging at all.

Some h-alpha data would probably give this effort a bit more snap...but as usual the weather may not co-operate before I have to go back to work...

Boooootiful! Nice to see you using the glass instead of the mirror!:)

Ha is essential for an object like this IMO.

Cheers, Marcus

PS: May the cloud gods have mercy for a few more nights!

Peter,

Wow, that is sensational. Love the star colours and resolution, particularly.

Awesome. :)

Prawn's been nicely done there, Peter. Throw in a few coldies and things will be going great:)

Another beauty. Its good to see that 155 being put to work.

A ripper. Look at those gorgeous stars.

Greg.

Thanks again for the feedback guys.

I've cooked this prawn a little more, now with just a touch of H-alpha added, which can be seen at the same url (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery98.html)

Time did not allow more photons to be gathered.... So I'll call it a work in progress :)

While conditions were not great last night, managed to grab a little more data.

The extra data can be seen here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery98.html)

Something I never noticed was the prawn seems to have a few EGG's

A high res-link to them is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery99.html)

WOW thats bright Peter. Great detail and contrast. Shows all the interesting bit and a few I hadn't noticed before. Nice but a bit bright for me.

 Had to do a double take on the title, for some reason I saw a Y instead of the Pr. :P

The image is a ripper. Good star colour and resolution. No vomit colours at all. :D

Regards
Keith

 If you look closely you still might see bits of carrot. (this can never be helped)
