This one reminded me of an Aboriginal painting...or Rorschach test

I preferred the former description, hence the title. :)

Better known as Barnard 92

Wow, that is a remarkable image. The dark dust area really stands out fabulously. So transparent and detailed. I was taken by surprise by the clarity.

Wonderful.

Greg.

Thanks Greg. The colour balance still has me a little confused, but I'm inclinded to leave it as is for now.

Thank you Leon.... I just looked at it on my Mac laptop....very different view to my Calibrated desktop monitor, so a few tweaks required yet I suspect! :)

Its probably a thin area of dust giving a hint of purple. Bushfire smoke can sometimes get that hue.

Definitely straight to the cool wall. I love the subtle change of colors and details. Top shelf stuff.

I like this myself. Good dust and lovely contrast. Just a small hint of noise left in the blacks.

They actually look like Bradshaw Figures.

Even if you hadn't mentioned an aboriginal likeness, I would have thought the same thing - the figures are very clear.

It's a lovely shot - for that reason alone!

Maybe the Aborigines had better eyesight than us - they certainly had clearer skies. A great shot Peter.

Another lovely image Peter. I see the Aboriginal painting resemblance very well.

Cheers
