Nice start Adam - just needs more/longer subs. Is the elongation in the RA axis? It might help to make the mount a bit out of balance (heavy on the East). It's good to see a few clear nights for a change!

thanks Peter!

I am pretty sure they are all RA eggs, as the RA graph in PHD was all over the place last night. I tweaked the balance to be slightly east heavy - but maybe it needed more...?

the frustrating thing is that I have bought some one piece worm blocks for my G11, but they were out of the high precision worms, and I don't really want to stick my old worm in just to have to change it out later, so I am making do for the moment. The bearings are not the best either.

I would have taken more shots, but by the time I had everything humming away, it was behind the tree - I have a pretty limited view of the sky from my backyard.

thanks for the comments!

Adam,

Looking good. Especially since you're imaging at that focal length requires much tighter alignment.

Very nice and good luck!!

added another image with another 1/2 hour of data to the original post. Makes a big difference!
