Scope complete and ready for astrophotography, just add a mount and cameras!
Vixen VC200L f9 VISAC catadioptric 20cm scope. This well-known astrophotography scope uses a sixth-order aspherical mirror to delivery a flat field. This is a great scope for both visual and astrophotos, and is in very good condition.
What else comes with it to make a complete package?
- Skywatcher short-tube 80mm refractor guidescope on StarStuff dovetail bar and rings
- JMI Motofocus (on VC200L)
- Vixen telecompressor (f6.4 focal reducer) and T-ring for VC200L
- VC200L visual back and accessories

What do you need to start taking astrophotographs?
- DSLR or CCD camera (not included)
- Webcam for autoguiding (not included)
- Laptop with PHD or other guiding software (not included)
- a suitable mount, obviously
Why am I selling? I'm going to concentrate on my pier-mounted LX200 astro outfit and get a dob for observing in the field.
What is it worth? About $3000 as I bought the components. I'd like $1400 to get a good go-to dob. Enquiries by PM, please. Pickup Sydney, but will discuss freighting.
