SPX350 F14.3, Mintron12V6, Astrodon filters.

This is a large bright planetary somewhere in Vela I have been waiting for, taken back in march I had forgotten about. Inspired by HiRes man Bassnut NB image of this colourful object. It is about 3/4 the size of M57 in Lyra but has a very bright central star.

L+R/RGB

L=1000
R=900
GB=350 each at 2.56sec subs.

That is a sweet shot. The two central stripes are really well defined. Top notch. :thumbsup:

Yeh this is pretty cool John, those two tedrils crossing the face of the nebula are very prominent, nce work.

So that's what it looks like - nice one John.
It's on my SynScan Tour mode, but I've never checked it out as 400mm FL is a high as I go!
