Hi guys

Back in early April I photographed my second wedding, of my cousin Matt to his wife Kristy.

It was a great day, had a lot of fun and learnt heaps.

I've been posting a few photos to Facebook as I'd gotten around to processing them, but I've finally finished all of them and handed them off to Kristy and Matt.

A select few of my favourites, as well as my story of the day, can be found here:

Kristy and Matt's Wedding Photography (http://www.mikesalway.com.au/2011/05/23/kristy-and-matts-wedding-photography/)

I don't mind the odd casual wedding shoot - as long as I'm not expected to be "pro" I think I'd be happy to do another :)

Feedback, comments welcome.

Really nice Mike.
Big responsibility shooting weddings, particularly family.
Knees are knocking just thinking about it!

Think I've been to a wedding there. Near Norah Head?

What a great job Mike. The B&W of the couple walking toward the jetty is superb!

Thanks for taking a look guys. Matt and Kristy are very happy with them so far. I'll be interested to find out which ones they choose to print.

I'm always worried that what I think is good is not the same as someone else :) Particularly the bride :)

Dean, Crackneck is at Bateau Bay.

You’re a brave man Mike – my knees tremble at the though of shooting such an important occasion. A nice series with a broad range of some very thoughtful poses, I’m sure the B&G will enjoy these. Nerves of steel eh!

Cheers

haha thanks Peter but my photography will never pay the bills :)

Thanks Dennis - there were a few moments of nerves before it started but once it got going, I just got into the rhythm.
It was a friendly and laid-back occassion too so that helped.

Excellent images, Mike! You've done very well, the poses and facial expressions are very natural and processing is spot on. I am sure the newlyweds loved the photos too. I would not hesitate to have you as the photographer on my daughter's wedding, still many many years away :).

Weddings are a tough game (I did two for my friends)...

Cheers,
Alex
