Funny thing happend to me at work today on my birthday :)

Even though I had to work on my birthday and deal with some upset guests, I had a funny thing happen to me that brightened my day.
I have also posted this comment on the post that wished me happy birthday ( thanks guys and girls), but thought this story deserved its own post.

I had one upset lady who said she didn't have any drinks charged to her room. She was quite loud, agitated and quite animate. Flapping her arms and turning around to seek support from her friends. She had a low cut figure hugging top. I did not know what to say or if I should. I couln't get a word in edgeways anyway.
So I retrieved the docket and showed it to her and she confirmed it was her signature. She turned around to her sister, motioned her over and the sister confirmed that they had those drinkshttp://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/../vbiis/images/smilies/ashamed05.gif.

She was very quiet and left without a fuss.

H these 'situations' happen all the time in the hospitality industry:lol:. Not necessarily the one I just mentioned ( however many a year back I delivered a room service order to a room with two Bikies and they invited me in with a hooker laying spread eagled :eyepop:on the bed. And again no pics sorry, but it did happen!)
Silly things like a customer coming up to the front desk ( reception/foyer area) and asking "can you direct me to reception so I can check in?":confused2: The customer was not drunk or on drugs so far as I could tell........Businessman as well to boot!!!!

Wish I ( we ) had cameras to record some of these capers....just to prove that Cro-Magnom's are still alive and well:rofl:
