Getting there!!!!. You'll need to focus the camera. Best to have the focus set on infinity. Set your white balance to auto and the exposure to 1/25 sec. You can play around with the exposure setting, though, to suit the target and the conditions. Try running with an ISO of 200-400. Less noise plus you'll be fast enough to be able to take pics. Also, when you post your piccies, try to reduce their size down so you can easily post it here for others to see without having to scroll around.

They're most likely hot pixels, not moons. You'd have to check your planetarium software to find out where the moons were when the piccie was taken.

thanks Carl for the tips.... i had to end my session last night around 11pm due to dew and cloud but had alot of fun.
