Not sure of the exact name of this bird,I'll ID later,(if any orno's know please feel free to ID).

Was out cutting fire wood, late today-saw a wedge-tail land close but no camera-went home to get it,of course it was gone when I got back.

But I managed a few quick images of this lovely song bird,it really has a sweet song. The sun was at good angle, but not that bright-approx 4.30 pm.So I used 1/640 AV 7.1,and iso 320.

He was on the fence post and I was driving up along and I got as close as I could and took 4 or 5 frames from the car window.

On review,I think I could possibly have used a higher speed:question:

These images are both the same, just different crops.I noticed the first low res here looks better than the 1.54 MB version.the finer feather details look sharper.

Anyhow-thanks for looking-Chris

I thought I'd bump this up and ask what I have done wrong with this image?
as I have had no replies, and I did not think it was any worse than a few of the other bird images I have seen here.

Also,I still have no idea on the ID of this bird,-some sort of 'grass warbler' or 'lark'.Comments on what I have done wrong with image welcome
