taken at injunaup in the south west. i finally found some green carved rocks but there was a huge swell rolling through :eyepop: that kept me on my toes. c&c welcomed

Love the subject matter Shane (near and dear to me too) :)

I prefer the second image myself, it's less busy and has a better balance to my eyes. The cartoonish nature suggests HDR?

yes i think i have cooked the first one to much. its not hdr it a single exp. thanks :)

used nikon d90 with nd8 filter and polarizer. iso under 200 /1second exp / f22 / nikon vr lens 18-55 mm lens . cheers :) hope that helps.

At f/22, you also start to suffer from diffraction softening.

yes i hate those bunnies there always in my shots :D. no wind that day but nice barreling waves . to the left of the rock was some brave surfers cutting up the waves :)

thanks h i did try a new cheap polarizer and it was terrible a waste of money i had to clone out the top corners of my pics
