Usually shot as a widefield image I decided to get up close and personal to NGC3576 with my 10"SCT at fl 2500. Moon was really messing with this image as well as BrisVegas not really helping. Added the Ha image.
The image is a composite of 10x10min Ha (1x1 binned) and 25 min each of RGB (5x5 min 2x2 binned). Processed in PS3 after stacking in DSS.

That turned out very well. You got a good result there despite the moon and light pollution.

Thanks Louie and Greg,
I added an image containing just the Ha data as that was a lot cleaner than the colour. I would have to take some extra colour data from a dark site to make this pop as its a bit flat.

Hi Allan
You’re producing some really excellent images at those quite challenging focal lengths; I’m impressed by the results and also by how you have mastered your rig.
Cheers

Thanks for the kind comments and I'm resisting the temptation of a new scope for as you say I'm just beginning to come to terms with the full potential of my equipment and I should maximize that before trying something new.
But I really do want that new scope...........!

That's a great blend Allan. Some inner details not often seen. Nice close up.
I admire your skills at imaging at this kind of FL with your gear.

Took me a while to find it as I was expecting a wider field of view usually seen. May image it with the 72 mm WO scope at Astrofest.
Thanks for the very kind comments. Taking things one step at a time makes for a long but satisfying journey.
Thanks Fabio, glad you like it

Not adventurous as you in imaging. Still like your setup and the images you produce and I've learnt a lot from your postings.
