Finally a gap in the clouds, but only about five minutes worth.
Standing on the back veranda in dressing gown and moccos in five degrees C, now that's a picture I'm not going to show you, but I will show a couple I finally got to capture of this apparently once in a lifetime event.
I think I was lucky given recent weather down here in Vic.
All shot with my Pentax K5
The first couple taken with 24-60mm f2.8 at 60mm f3.5 iso 400 1.6 sec
the third is with 135mm f2.8 at f3.5 iso 400 1.6 sec.
I was pleased to see three of Jupiter's moons clearly in the last shot so for that five minutes it was very clear but you can see how quickly the clouds returned and ten minutes later it was raining again.
