Nice image Philip.
From memory you are not guiding.
I reckon it would be worth setting up the 80mm refractor for guiding.
Is the camera at its max exposure setting (longest)?
Hi Troy ,
Maximum exposure is 10.24 sec , I did try to do a video sequence at that setting but the clouds rolled in, seeing was pretty awful anyway.am quite pleased with the result considering. Total exposure for this picture was about 25minutes . For a guided exposure I would probably go back to using my canon 350d , I stopped doing that unguided 4 years ago, even then I could manage more than 2 minutes unguided. Then using routines in images plus could stack them to achieve longer apparent exposures. Anyway how are your planetary pictures going ? Have you posted any recently , the ones on your web site look great.
Regards Philip
You should be happy good image
