How old is the EQ5 & what features has it got?

I am after an EQ5 with slo-mo controls, dual motor drives & steel legs.

Thanks

Hi Craig,
This is just the basic EQ5, ie it is not a goto system.
As to age:- although I bought it 5 yrs ago, it is unused in that it came as a package with my Skywatcher 6" refractor, and, not liking equatorial mounts, I substitutued it for an altaz.
best wishes,
john

Hi

Did the lightbridge sell?
If still available what is its current price?

Regards

Peter

Dear Peter,
I realised belate4dly that I needed to 're-collimate' the price, especially of the equatorial mount:- the current and hopefully realistic prices are:-

Meade 16" Deluxe Lightbridge Dobsonian: $1500
Also selling EQ5 mount: $400
I am now using the Lightbridge from my Newcastle/Lake Macquarie viewing platform, but can return it to Sydney if that suits.

Thanks for your interest,
john

Hi,

I see the posting has been there a while. Is the scope still for sale? Also, what is the weight of this unit? I'm interesting in taking occasionally to our viewing field.

Best,

Dave
