Manged a few quick shots before the storms came over. There were no big prominences but I managed a few filaments.The first two were taken using a 0.6 Focal reducer on the GSTAR in an attempt to get a greater area of coverage with my F23 scope.

I was planning to get a Gstar but never found any Ha solar images taken with this camera that were good resolution of detail. Impressive!

I may have to reconsider.

This is what can be achieved with a bit more effort,they were done by a mate with many years of processing experience.I took the avis with the Gstar through a 60mm 0.5A Daystar Solaredi Ha scope.
