a side by side comparison when big blue is up and running to see if the refractor produces the brown and the reflector more pinks and blues
cassini division is very good

Cheers guys. Yeah, one of my best. I have a better one from the same night...stitched 2 AVI's together, I'll post it later.
Ezy, I use a 2X APO barlow with an extension tube. I shoot at prime focus, no eyepieces needed.

Very nice image of Saturn there Mr. Asimov. I tried last night but lucked out, the image was ping-ponging all around the screen as well as wobbling like a jelly.
Glad you managed to get such a great image - well done.
Cheers

Do you stitch the avi's prior to Registax or just select both avi's at the same time and process together?
BTW very nice Saturn.
fantastic shot there sir! :)

Thanks Mr. Vingster!
JJJ I stitch them together in virtual dub first. I use registax version 2, so I can't actually bring in 2 separate AVI's, but you can do that in version 3. Thanks.
