Another name for B 72 the Snake Nebula?

I would love to have a go at this but my go to has M NGC and IC objects. Does this have another name as I have looked but everywhere it just says B 72.

Hi Mark,

Barnard 72 is a dark cloud "nebula", dimensions 37 by 17 arcminutes.
SIMBAD cross-referencing indicates there is no NGC or IC number for it.
If you're trying to track it down, your best bet is to locate the magnitude 6.7 star HD 157398 (SAO 185357) which is only about 6 arcminutes south of it.

B 72 is exactly half way between NGC 6325 ( a tiny Globular cluster) and NGC 6369 (the Little Ghost Planetary Nebula).
Depending on your FOV but if you can get both objects in the same field, B 72 will be dead centre of frame.

Just punch in either one then move the scope to get to B72 using this map I have made for you:
