View Full Version here: : Conjunctions from Townsville May 1st
Just to add more to great images already submitted.;)
Also a beautiful morning in Townsville, with a balmy 18 dg, tad chilly actually. Not even too many mozzies to ruin the mood.
The planets and crescent Moon looked supherb, certainly worth the crawl out of bed to witness. :)
All images taken with Canon 450 D at varying settings.

Wow Liz, great shots. I really like the 2nd moon over water shot.
Any thoughts of a trip to the top of Castle Hill tomorrow morning for a different perspective?

Hello, Liz
What a balmy, “I want to be there” series of tropical photos. Nicely captured and the setting is superb.
Cheers
Dennis
Thank you Paul, Tom, jjj, David and Dennis. Such a joy to get out there with the camera in these conditions at the moment. Snuck out in my PJs, not a soul in sight .... luckily.
Ooh, Castle Hill would be great Paul ... alas, I live 30 minutes north of town. Something to think about though.
