Here is a shot I took at the Butterfly Park at Kuala Lumpur.... Hope it's not too big (120K) but it's the best I can do without dropping it lower than 640x480.

Hi all,
Here is my entry.
Whilst not technically a macro (admittedly, I used a 55-200mm zoom lens at 200mm), it's still fairly up close and personal.
I adore the imperfections in the rose which I feel add to the composition.
Regards,
Humayun

I liked the way the foreground and Background are the same colour but depth of field makes the subject stand out. Taken while walking in the Grand canyon two years ago.

Went bushwalking today & came across an inch ant nest. I got plenty of other shots of different creatures but decided on this shot to throw in the comp.

OK I'm in wet season mode, so here is another one.
Everything comes to life up here in the Wet... Flowers, beetles.
Well everything except astronomers, they have to turn to things like photography for fun :camera:

I took this pic of my dog while messing around with my old Canon S45.
