On Anzac Day 2011, I woke up at 4am and drove up to Catherine Hill Bay to photograph the dawn, hoping to get a beautiful sunrise with the big mining jetty.
Unfortunately the weather didn’t co-operate to get a sunrise, but the cloudy and rainy conditions gave an opportunity for some different types of photos around the wharf area.
You can see all the large versions here:
Anzac Day Dawn at Catherine Hill Bay (http://www.mikesalway.com.au/2011/04/29/anzac-day-dawn-at-catherine-hill-bay/)
All taken with the Canon 40D, and Sigma 17-70 or Canon 24-105mm.
Feedback, C&C welcome.
Cheers
