SPX350 F34.2, PGRFlea3, Astrodon red filter.

Only had fair seeing but the avi's processed well for the wavey seeing passing over the Moon. This fl requires much better seeing like I had in Jan and Feb, used AviStack1.81 and stacked best 750of3000frames. Still prefer AviStack over Regx6 but Regx6 seems better than Regx5 for lunar with sharper quicker processing.

Wow, these are just brilliant John - especially the Moretus.
R6 and aviStack both seem to excel at putting images back together again when there is the wavy-but-sharp seeing that you described. Regards Ray

Some really beautiful shots, and processing.
I think the Newton at your service really offers a contrast, and incisiveness' impeccable.
And also deploy the 'targeted, and soft.
Excellent room for recovery.

What tips you were seeing?

You can see a piece of film, at least one of the shooting?
I am very much looking forward to seeing the seeing of recovery.

Thanks Ray and Saturnino, the Moretus (2 pane) image was the most turbulent with wavey seeing but it is amazing how software can show so much detail by stacking and sharpening.

I use AviStack1.81 for aligning and stacking and Regx5.1 for waveleting and PS CS3 for contrast (soft light), despeckling and hipass sharpening and final noise reduction.

Avi is Mpeg2 but shows reasonable quality.

They are fabulous John. Looks more like you did a close flyby than took images from earth.

Really nice results John, has been a very long time since any Moon photons were collected by my scope, would have to go back to my early days with the DMK, but after seeing these results I think the Flea might have some Moonage in its future.
