I have a large transparency (450mm x 450mm) of Grus Galaxy Cluster. The film was made by the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh from a glass plate taken at the UK Schmidt Telescope at Siding Spring, near Coonabarbran, NSW. The film was saved from the ROE film library when it was being closed down.

The transparency film has a nice collection of galaxies, visible to the eye but best seen with a light box and loupe (magnifier). It is marked as "Reject" film, but it looks very good to me. It is a very nice set of galaxies.

The UK Schmidt film shows stars to Mag 23, two million times fainter than the human eye can see. I have other images for sale but this is a nice group of galaxies. It contains at least ten spiral and barred-spiral galaxies in field. It is centred on RA 22h 58min, Dec -40 degrees and is referred to as Field 346.

The price is $20 plus postage, which is likely to be $5 to Australian destinations. Postage will be combined if other pieces of film are purchased. I am in the process of creating a list and description of all the film that is available. Please email me on naomiian@bigpond.net.au (naomiian@bigpond.net.au) if you are interested.

Regards
Ian :)
