Awesome, I know we saw lots of stars out there
mmmm?
Your Polar Alignment might be spot on but your focus is way off !!!
You should be focusing on your studies and work commitments.
Not wasting time on this addictive hobby of your's.
Also the image is very noisy, is that Deep Purple in the background? :poke:
I knew you where gonna bag a stunna when I saw your raw data that night Humayun.
It's a beautiful image and you've really done well in every step of the way.
From Polar alignment, focus, aquisition, putting up with me, calibration, stacking, processing and presentation.
10/10 mate.

Hi Ed,
Thank you.
I believe IRIS counted something like 15,000 stars. Well, the bright ones, anyway.

Hi Andrew,
Haha, I finished my studies years ago. I'm teaching in the evenings so it's not getting in the way! :)
Thanks for the compliment and heads up.

Hi Phil,
Thank you!
I like to go full on -- learning IRIS has been frustrating, but fun at the same time. It's a wonderful piece of software magic.

Louie,
Just one word? I was expecting a critique from you!
This image wouldn't have been possible without your assistance in polar alignment.
I'm indebted to you.

Congratulation.
These pictures are fantastic, yor effort has paid off.
It ecourages me to mount my Lumix DMC FZ 10 on the ETX and see what i can produce.
I'm very new to this, but I like to have a go!

Another great shot from Lostock :)
Where were you set up, near the house or down near the river?. I came with Photoncollector in his brown Torago, he had a 12 inch Dob set up and I could hear the click of a shutter opening every now and then from a set up a short distance away (we were set up near his Toago which was under a tree about 1/2 way from the house to the river not far from the rest of the scopes and big dobs.)

Hi Scott,
Cheers!
I was set alongside Louie, near the fence, across from the people camping with the horses.
We briefly chatted!
