Saturn April 17 - first

Hi Folks

My first real go at Saturn - thorn between many roses, but thought I would post anyway. 15" SDM with 5x powermate. 200 frames (best of 1000) aligned, stacked registax6. Seeing was very average.

Hey Steve. A very respectable image considering the stack size. I can usually tell a 'natural planet processor' when I see one, & I think you are one. Keep heading in this direction;)

A bit green in the colour balance area but still a nice image! Pity about the seeing.

Everyone says it, seeing is king! A fine image despite the seeing.

Thanks guys for your comments and for the encouragement Asi, much appreciated. Take your point about the green - stare at the image for too long and you start to miss the obvious. See what the whether brings in the next few days and will have another go.
