Hi all

I imaged the Moon tonight with my Meade LX90 and Nikon D3100 camera. I used a .63 focal reducer to capture the entire Waning Gibbous phase - 18.5 days.

If I remember correctly - exp 1/300 and ISO 800 - so many different combinations of stuff to much around with!

This is the beginning of a new chapter in my imaging and I am looking forward to lots of different phases and Lunar Eclipses now!!!

I must say I am quite happy with this image - very little processing in Regisatx5 and the image is reduced to 25% of the original.

I hope you enjoy as half as much as I did!

Very nice image Matt, the detail is great. I have often wondered about the quality of the Meade scopes, this has answered the question for me thanks. :)
