Hi all, I took some Moon images after Saturn last night in 5/10 conditions. I cannot seem to identify this crater, the nearest I can find that looks like this in my Moon Atlas is Langrenus, but it isn't.

Can someone please identify it for me?

Taken with 14" LX200 and DMK using red filter.

Hi there Lester,

Just had a look in my "Atlas of the Moon" by Antonin Rukl. This crater is Pythagoras.

The peaks in the centre and the detail on the rim is most distinctive.

Trevor
