Finally got my act together and processed all the frames from this night of the 29 March. This is an 8 frame animation. It shows the storm moving around the planet, some spoke action in the B ring on both sides of the planet and a mon comes into view too.

That was certainly a great night and the rings are so sharp and the Encke so solid.

Nice work Paul, nothing like an animation to better show the dynamics of the storm.

Yeh that's a beauty Paul, that storm is the best thing that has happened to Saturn images for decades I'd recon

Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Yep exciting times for planetary imaging. Interesting to see the evolution of this part of imaging from near its inception to now. 2004 probably there was a handful of people across the planet doing ultra hi resolution imaging of the planets, then some of us went across to monochrome, Anthony first in Australia, followed by me and then others. Now there are thousands of people doing hi res imaging of the planets across the world. The gradual change from Toucam, to NC900 and now Imaging Source camera as the base standard has meant capture of this type of thing is now common place. Exciting times.
