Here's my version dude.
stacked using V2 on the laptop. 337 hand picked frames/resampled @ 1.3X heavy on the waveletts.
Bit of grain present...but that's my personal preference 'cos I like the image sharp.
The usual processing in picture publisher-8 & neatimage.
In process of having another go to see if I can get it better. :confuse3:

Hmmm, probably 7.75 outa 10 :-) Did you bump the scope a coupla times too? a few really blurry ones in there.
You have a blob of crud on your chip too but luckily near the edge, only had to cut out 6 or 7 frames due to that.

well i knew you were experienced so i spose 7.75 is possible.
the engineering in Dave's Dodgy Dobs means that sometimes the guiding will stick and a small shudder can run thru the optics.
i am trying to track that crud down. i have triied cleaning the televue (scary) and a few goes at cleaning the ccd. I will rotate the powermate tonight and see if the spot has rotated with it?

Beautiful re-process Asi and beautiful shot all round DP :). Made the mistake of looking at Dennis's latest Jupiter image first though :P
The moon here looks like a moon too - do you know which one it was DP?
