As new Hyperion 8-24mm clickstop zoom (type II): $190 including postage (within Australia only).

Includes soft pouch and adapter to convert from 1.25-in to 2-in fitting.

This is the type II 'phantom group coating' version.

FOV is 68 deg. at 8mm and 50 deg. at 24mm.

Was purchased in Mar 2009 for $279 with a second one for possible bino operation which didn't eventuate, meaning this one was never used.

Do you happen to know if a Televue Dioptrix can be fitted to this eyepiece. I have read somewhere that a dioptrix can be fitted on one of Hyperion Zoom models, but I cannot remember which one .

George, you may wish to see my earlier IIS post about fitting the TV Dioptrx to Hyperion EP's here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=32021&highlight=dioptrx) . I'm not sure about the Hyperion zoom but the eyecup really shouldn't be any different to the prime EP's, perhaps Mike could let you know.
