Great price for a good lens, this shouldn't last that long. If I didn't have this lens range already covered, it would be sold now.

Ditto on what Dutch is saying. I have been using the VC version of this lens for a while, only recently changing to a Canon L lens recently.
It's an excellent lens and a very good price.
