Just calling out to all my fellow stargazers in the northern beaches area, I myself live in North Sydney and would love to know if there are any locals around here?!! Seems im the only one in the area getting strange glances and puzzled expressions as im riding down the elevator with my 10 inch dob to my car! Haha!

Looking forward to meeting you, oh and im going to be heading up to ASNSW Bowen Mountain dark site (1hr20mins from Sydney) At the end of April if anyone needs a lift etc

Hi Adam

You're probably best putting something like "Northern Beaches NSW" in your thread title, so people that live nearby are prompted to take a look :)

There are plenty of Northern Beaches locals on IIS, and a few of them already go to the ASNSW Bowen Mountain site so I'm sure you'll see some of them there :)

Thanks for the info, im thinking of going there myself on the 23rd to get away from Sydneys rubbish skies!
