Sitting here in the Qantas Lounge deciding whether or not to have a G&T before our honeymoon flight to New York and Mexico.

Wedding was on Saturday and was a fabulous day - went off without a hitch (well, except of the getting hitched bit!).

Here's a few photos, and, Darren, a special little modification just for you.

Clear southern skies everyone! The missus wouldn't let me take the tripod for some northern sky startrails (will have to buy a cheap one over there) - and so begins married life!!

its the best i reckon, my 1 year anniversary is in about a month.
I remember waking up early the next morning to watch the ISS and STS-132 fly over, god it was bright, perfect weekend i reckon

In deference to Gem, before I got married I didn't know what astronomy was, now I've got more gear than I can poke a stick at. Mind you I was spending that much time out of the house at night that I thought I may as well develop an interest for the circumstances.:lol::lol::lol::rofl:

thanks everyone - day 2 in New York - chilly but sunny.

Jen - I told the hairdresser one thing and one thing only - "leave the curls" but I think she was too groovy to listen to the client so they hit the floor!!

Just about to head out and see the sights after an amazing dinner last night at "Fatty Crab" on Hudson St and the most wonderful dead sleep after 20 hrs of travelling.

Jen, Daniel - do you think Darren's forsaken me now that I'm married :lol:

and to think I changed my avatar just for him... Maybe it needs to be a t-shirt for November!!!

Hoping to take some startrails in the clearer skies of Mexico next week.
