"Thou shalt not love thy wife's cat."

Unfortunately, being that he has slept on my lap since he was a kitten, this little character and I have developed quite a bond.

Makes it very hard to get a shot of him, because every time I lay on the floor with my macro lens, he gets up to rub his face on me....

Nicely captured Baz, I know what you mean about cats, I try not to like them, they crap in our garden incessantly, can carry more known nasty diseases than just about any animal you can think of, but when they sit on you lap and purr its impossible not to like them.

Awesome shot Barry!!!!!
Love cats and taking pictures of them as well!
And Phil...... dogs probably have the same amount of diseases as cats do!;) I'm amazed that you can find cats poo in your garden as cats dig a hole and cover their mess up:thumbsup:.

Lovely shot Baz, beautiful colours.

I'm in the cat camp, beautiful, graceful creatures with a mind of their own.

LOL! Thanks guys. As far as dirtiness goes, the dog next door comes into our garden, digs up a cat-poo and takes it home with him. Not sure what he does with it..... ewww.

Thanks again gang! I really feel I nailed this one. This little bugger kept moving and really made me work for the shot. I must have taken around 40 shots to get the one I wanted!

It's been a big day of photography today. Shooting, processing and watching hours of tutorials on all things photography. You never stop learning, although there are fewer gems among the suck-eggs as you get more experienced. Those gems are worth sitting through the boring stuff though!
