Haploscapanes australicus? Not sure, closest match I could find. Deceased - an obliging subject.
Having no special flash, I used a pillow case draped over the subject and camera with a fold over the pop-up flash as a diffuser?

I think that lighting is spot on -- it gives the scene a 3D graphics look.

Trick to all lighting is to make the source of light as big as possible relative to the subject, and especially so with shiny insects like this one. Great innovative solution and result speaks for itself. Well done!
