These Police may be crazy

Just watching 'Live' on CNN, reports say that Police might have lit a fire in the Interior Ministry building in Cairo Egypt because they did not get the Pay rise they have been protesting about!

7 floors of the multi-storey building are alight and the fire is spreading to other building in the Cairo CBD!!

It sounds like a normal incident that occurs with the Thai police...lol.

In Thailand you can be prosecuted for publishing details of illegal activity if it subsequently costs the perpetrator money. Even if it is true you are still in trouble. There is a current case where a person videoed some high court judges discussing how to get away with some dodgy stuff they had been doing. Guess who is in the most trouble over it?

One thing I have learnt living in Thailand is that the police in Australia often don't get the respect they deserve. Only the elite in Thailand are likely to have any respect for Thai police.

A slang term for crazy in Thailand is ting tong. Thai police are ting tong!!.. :screwy:
