Holy Moley, look at that scope.
What a beautiful pier too. Looks like it's been clad with panels off an old piano. I'd be concerned about the finish perishing.

This thread needs a poll.
A. The chick, or
B. The scope

You gotta ask yourself this question before you make a choice:
Which one will end up " costing " you the most. :D
:lol: Brilliant jjj!!! I was thinking I would have to find an image somewhere, and you have done it. Dearest Brian is female IISers most popular male at the moment. 10/10 for you.
I might even make that pic my wallpaper.

Can we please keep this thread on a Technical theme, and keep your minds out of the gutter!
The detail in this beautifully made telescope is amazing.
The fine detail can be seen best in this close-up of the Brass wheel :D
:lol::lol: lol JJJ :rofl:
I will have two of those thanks :P

jjj, you need to practice your photoshopping. The highlights on BC and the scope are close. The image between his arms should be the scope barrel.

As I recall of that first pic - she is carrying the C8 on a sandy beach down by the ocean's edge. Yes, we all set up our scopes in such a location. Maybe she just finished rinsing the corrector plate? :D
Wow Nettie! What a great surprise and treat.. Brian & me ... together...
Well, that's one fantasy I can tick off my list- Brian, me and the scope. *sigh*... We don't need to go outside to play with the scope either. ;):innocent:
Thanks for that pic Nettie- :2thumbs:
It's put a great big grin on my face! I think I may have to get that printed and put it next to my astro piccies.
My scope looks better than "that" girls scope.
I bet she doesn't even know what to do with it
She'll probably fall over in those heels swinging that "thing" around and then squish all that make up all over that eye piece.
And then the wind and elements would ruin that perfectly manicured hair  And then she'll probably end the night with doing some serious damage to someone's equipment with those pointy things- they look like weapons of destruction. :screwy:
...and the guys reckon I need a cold shower and buckets of water thrown on me for oogling over Brian. :screwy: I'm timid, meek and mild compared to you'll .
It's OK, I'll show her how it's done ;)
"Ok this goes here.. and that goes there like that.."
"do we do anything with this?"
"no no we don't need that .... but... ok, we might need it later.... so I'll just put it over here with this thing for now."
Edit:
Just had another look at the photo, she reminds me alot of a young Denise Drysdale
