Hi all,

If you are in Sydney, and looking for a bit of a 'how to' opportunity, Peter at Randwick Girls' High School has organised a viewing night for Friday 8'th of April:

It is a great chance to suss out different types of scope, ask questions, get pointers on gear and pin down a few DSO's. :stargaze: :astron:

If you've got a scope, great, bring it, big or small, they are all useful, including binoculars!

If you don't, come all the same.

We don't bite. Well, not too hard so to draw blood, .

And for those with access to wheels, there is also a star party at Katoomba Airfield the Saturday before, April 2. Details at this link:

Everyone is welcome. There are no restrictions other than all torchs need to be red in their beam colour. Red cellophane, three or four layers will do the trick.

Oh, and please read the 'Aeroguard' point too.

If you don't have a scope, and would like to have a go with one up at Katoomba, please let me know and I can bring along an 8" scope. It's easy to use. All you need to do is ask.

Cheers,

Mental.
