Flu!!!

Anyone been hammered by the flu lately?
I got it about 8 days ago and it knocked me flat in 5 minutes. I thought I'd been poisoned it was so bad - 41* temp, hallucinations, couldn't walk etc.
I'm tempted to blame my wife as she's recently taken up teaching and kids are such flu-factories. Or did I just eat a bad mushroom?

I hope opening this post has not allowed you to pass it on to me. You probably already know that you can't get rid of it till you give it to someone else.

Are you sure they were hallucinations. These days reality is often stranger than hallucinations. The other symptoms are definitely the flu!

Think I am getting the flu, joints aching headache slight temp cough chest hurts when I do cough. I blame my yr 11and 12's for this. No hallucinations yet, hope I don't get them today as I have to drive out to charleville.

Yup, had it about a month ago. Hits you like a sledge hammer, literally takes you out overnight. Sounds like yours is a bit more serious than mine, Hallucinations ..!!?? I felt quite spaced out but no pink elephants or anything.
