**SOLD**
Hi Guys
For sale is the complete collection of Star Trek Voyager episodes.
They are genuine chinese bootleg R0 DVD's
Yes, unfortunately I fell prey on eBay.
These DVD's were advertised as Genuine, but when they arrived they were obviously Bootlegs.
I'm not sure what gave it away... perhaps it was the description of the show on the back of the packaging:
blah blah blah.. yeah it goes on like that for some time....
Anyway,
There are 172 episodes, approx 129 hours worth spread over 47 Disks!
Like most 90's programs, they were filmed with SD video camera's at only 480i resolution, however I have watched all of the Voyager episodes on a 40" HDTV with Blu-ray player and the episodes upscale very nicely!
These discs default to chinese subtitles, fortunately they can be turned off.
A couple of disks have light scratches, but these have not affected playback on any of my players. (Laptop's DVD, Sony Bluray player and a cheap-n-nasty Teac thing)
Some discs have a fingerprint or two.. but again, no affect on playback.
I have not cleaned the fingerprints for two reasons....
1) there are 47 discs!
2) I try not to 'clean' optical discs unless they need it... ie; they skip.
A couple of discs exhibited light skipping on the Teac DVD player, one disc in particular had no visible scratches, or fingerprints, or any visible faults at all, and yet caused the Teac DVD player to lock up, the laptop and Bluray player didn't skip a beat.
I'm putting this down to the quality chinese manufacturing
$100
$75 plus postage... (from 6168, ~2kg, 27x24x17cm)
**SOLD**
or you can get these DVD's plus the other two StarTrek sales I have going:
StarTrek Next Generation (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=73232) complete, and
StarTrek Deep Space 9 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=73244) complete
$450 for the lot! (incl. postage within AUS)
