The jist is that they're predicting the spontaneous appearance of 'Higgs singlets' at the same time as Higgs Bosons (if they appear at all). The singlets are theorised to be one of the particles not bound to the 'brane' upon which normal matter resides, so they can theoretically travel in other dimensions, and thus forwards or backwards in time.
Good to see M-Theory starting to be understood to the point where someone can formulate some predictions !
