More beginner Moon photos

Greetings to all,
Here's another first AP attempt at the moon.
I was able to get about 1/2 an hour just after sunset before the usual cloudy makeover.
I used my ED80 and Canon 20D connected to it directly.
The hardest part was focussing without liveview and having to use the 20D viewfinder...character building I believe.
Anyway here are a few of the many I took.I only have Photo Elements so have just adjusted levels and used Unsharp Mask.
Any tips, suggestions, critiques welcome.

Very impressive you have managed to stop the bright area around Tycho from being overexposed nice job lovely job. I agree about focusing without live view I have my first DSLR a Nikon D200 and it is characture building I agree. The only suggestion I can give is if you cant afford PS like me take the time and learning curve and get Gimp it can do almost everything that PS can do and it is free. I am starting to learn it and haven't reached it's potential yet.:thumbsup:

I prefocus on a distant subject before I attach the camera to the scope. Little bit of gaffer tape will then hold the focussing ring from moving. Luckily we're a bit elevated and I can use local hill about 5 km away to ge best infinity focus. Never need to touch it after that.

Nice pix btw, exposure is excellent as was said before.

Carl, Brent and Warren thanks for the comments and suggestions.
As for overexposure there were lots of those now safely in the recycle bin.
I took a large range of shots and am now trying to decide the best settings.
Now I'm really hooked.
I'll have a look at Gimp too..........I love that word "free".
