Quite some time ago I had to give up astro photography, but Im back into into it not with a permanent based 14er this time, something a bit more portable, now have a Megrez 90 , a FLT 110 all on a EQ6 , some sort of portability is important as I am traveling in a motorhome..

Questions
I dont want to be running cables from the motorhome to the gear, as the PC in built into the motorhome. Bluetooth maybe, anyone done this, ?

Another question, I bought a nice K10D of a member here, with the sole intent of using it for second obsession photography "nature" its great for that very sympathetic of a hopeless photographer, Does anyone use one for astro photography? further more since I still dont have a pentax Tring, just looking I would guess It wont fit onto the back of a Pflat 4.. "chassis interference", can anyone confirm that,?

Thanks All...

A modified Canon 350D is usually pretty cheap and doesn't need to be plugged into a computer.

Being good at polar alignment and drift alignment will be the key skill needed.
