SPX350 F34.7, PGRFlea3, Astrodon filters, 1438hrs UT.

Snatched another all too quick go inbetween the cloud and Saturn looked so promising but high misty cloud. Cloud comes in 2 directions with high mackeral/mist cloud from the West and low rainy cloud from East which can all just clear sometimes.

As I was collecting the blue the image dimmed and it was all over, seeing was good for the red only blue and green were not so good with a fading blue. Storm shape seems to have changed from 3 weeks ago when I last had a chance. I use a slight gamma 1100 on the red as I found it can help detail at this long fl.

Thanks, John.

Great pic as usual John. I'm about 100k's South of you and last night while viewing managed to get to 300x mag on Saturn with my SCT best visual of Saturn for me yet(about 3am QLD time) was wondering when some of that seeing was going to head down this way.Lasted about an hour.Enjoy the updates on the storm.

Thanks Guys, Mark you'll love the C14 - once you get collimation sorted these big scopes give high magnifs showing unbelievable detail when seeing allows and are unsurpassed for imaging.

Clouded out for a while now, would love a good imaging run through to opposition.

John.
