The Twelve Apostles on a bleak winter dawn. I was hoping to capture the first rays of light striking the features in the image, but, it wasn't to be.

The title is in reference to the fact that there's no longer twelve of these monoliths. In recent years, a few have crumbled and washed away.

Far from my strongest composition, but, I think there's still interesting lines and curves throughout the image which lead the eye in and towards the Apostles.

Great Ocean Road, Victoria.

Nice one H. I used to live just down the road from there until I moved to sunny Brisbane for the floods, cyclones and crappy weather.
Went back down south for my son's wedding and my - do I miss those dark, dark skies.
