12" Bintel Dob in Melbourne; ebay $700

This could be a good deal for someone in Melbourne. There is a GS 12" Dob on ebay for a $700 starting bid ($800 buy now). It's only a standard so R&P focuser and no fan, but these could be easy upgrades for little over $100. Still a bargain if the scope's close to new like the ad says.

I wonder how long before we have a new thread about getting more magnification on Saturn. ;)
