Hi guys,
Here is a rather poor image of the crux region taken with my star tracker and a Canon 400D and 17-40mm lens at 40mm. Not ideal as there was a huge gradient across the image due to the setting sun and moonlight. Was hoping to get more data when the constellation got higher but cloud made sure that wasn't going to happen :( Also the noise from the Canon is becoming a pain at ISO800, plus it was riddled with hot and cold pixels. So all up not the best. I will revisit this area next month hopefully, when the moon is new and the skies are clear...
EDIT: Forgot to mention this is a sum of 30 x 1m 30s exposures stacked in DSS.
