Just want to know is this scope any good for seeing DSO also for astrophotography?

Yes...on both accounts. If your scope is fastar/hyperstar compatible you're going to be very lucky. With a hyperstar lens you reduce your scope's f ratio down to f1.8/f2 and that allows you take happy snaps very quickly, in alt-az mode, that are just as good a many long exposure pics on an EQ wedge...which you can also get for the CPC800. Planets are a snap with this scope, so are lunar shots. You'll be getting good optics and a good scope overall. Visually and pics wise, you'll be buying a good piece of kit.
If you want to become dedicated with taking astropics with this scope, I would shell out for the EQ wedge, but I would also get the hyperstar lens as well.

I'd just reiterate that if you're going to get a wedge then you need a good one not one that ends up bouncing your tube all over the place with the slightest disturbance.
